CNC Swiss Machinist

Job Description:

Adecco, the world leader in HR solutions, has an immediate openings a SWISS CNC Machinist in the Huntingdon Valley , PA area. This position does require knowledge of set up and machining parts.

Responsibilities include:

¿ Set up and operate STAR Swiss

¿ Program complex, tight tolerance parts utilizing a variety of CNC machines.

¿ Consistently manufacture parts of high complexity while maintaining tolerances in the .0002 - .0010 range. Accurately measure and inspect parts using a variety of tools and equipment to meet drawing specifications and ensure part quality.

¿ Act as liaison with Manufacturing, Model shop and Engineers to determine the best method of manufacturing complex parts in order to meet production goals and deadlines.

¿ Direct training of employees in polymer and metal machining procedures, and processes.

¿ Assist Maintenance department with maintaining equipment according to internal maintenance schedules and manufactures recommendations.

¿ Keep detailed and accurate records of all production runs, maintenance activities, and product development activities according to GMP guidelines.

¿ Advise direct supervisor of perceived problems with processes, machinery, or product quality, and assist in developing improvements.

¿ Respond with flexibility to changes with the production schedule and interact with other departments as necessary.

¿ Support QA in sample collection, testing, scheduling, and monitoring of product quality.

¿ Perform other duties as assigned by Direct Supervisor.

Second Shift Monday through Thursday 3:45 PM-2:15 AM
