This role will support HQ business units for residential and business services customers as well as Division Business units. Responsibilities include preparation of schedules to support accruals, quarterly financial statement analysis, journal entries and various account reconciliations.Job DescriptionCore Responsibilities

• Perform accounting and analysis for various Sales & Marketing and Service Center accounts.
• Ensure that balance sheets are accurately stated and reconciled to the general ledger through preparation of account reconciliations. Researches variances, determines root causes, and makes recommendations for adjustments.
• Record monthly journal entry financial transactions, ensuring they have proper support/documentation to substantiate the entry.
• Review financial statements for operating trends and results, researching variances to forecast, budget, prior month.
• Prepare financial reports, analyzing data for management review.
• Assists with the internal and external audit process as needed.
• Research complex accounting data in order to comply with new accounting policy implementation.
• Assist with development of Automated Accounting workflows. Knowledge of Power BI, Data Analyze 360, Alteryx, or other Workflow Automation tools encouraged. -
• Research ways of streamlining and standardizing processes to support the Accounting function.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with cross functional teams independently on Projects.
• Very fast paced learning environment.
• Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
