of our success is yours.The Impact You Will Have We are seeking a
Business Development Associate (BA) who will be responsible for
conducting key analyses and providing actionable insights for the
NA Distribution's business development activities. The BA will be
assigned to support designated zones, though is expected to
collaborate across the Distribution organization in analyzing new
business, upcoming renewals, broker performance, etc., and
constructing zone and LOB-specific pipelines (e.g., criteria-based
prioritization). The BA will also be responsible for producing
management reports, both for the NA Region and Global. This role
requires a blend of analytical skills, baseline industry knowledge,
and strategic thinking to drive business initiatives and enhance
the efficacy of Distribution activity. Some of your specific
responsibilities could include:
- Analyze new and renewal business opportunities as well as
assist in the planning and execution of business development
strategies
- Assess broker performance and market trends
- Identify patterns and insights that can inform strategic
decisions and drive revenue growth
- Work with Sales Operations & Planning to create and manage a
single pipeline platform covering all zones and LOBs
- Prioritize opportunities based on specific criteria to ensure
focus on the most promising and strategically aligned
prospects
- Engage with various teams within the Distribution organization
to ensure a unified approach to Originate > Execute > Retain
business
- Share data and insights across teams to support cohesive
strategies and initiatives
- In collaboration with Sales Operations & Planning and LOBs,
produce detailed reports for regional and global management,
summarizing key findings and business performance metrics
- Develop best practices for Distribution analysis and reporting:
Approaches, methodologies, tools, etc. What You'll Bring to the
Role
- 3-5 years experience in analyzing large datasets to extract
meaningful insights
- 3-5 years experience in using quantitative methods to identify
trends, patterns, and correlations that inform business
decisions
- 3-5 years experience in problem solving and stakeholder
engagement, planning, coordination, and progress monitoring
- 3-5 years experience in using analytical tools such as
Microsoft Excel, SQL, and data visualization software like Tableau
or Power BI
- 1-3 years experience in Commercial insurance industry
- Ability to create comprehensive and visually appealing reports
that communicate complex data in an understandable manner
- Familiarity with business intelligence platforms to create
reports and dashboards
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration The annualized
base pay range for this role is $91,827 - $157,491. The annual base
salary range represents nationwide market range. The actual salary
for this position may be above and will be determined by a number
of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the
role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience
of the candidate. The base pay is just one component of the AzC
total compensation package. As part of our comprehensive
compensation and highly rated benefits programs, employees are also
eligible for annual performance-based cash incentive awards.55620 -
