and Sidul.z OVERVIEW The Process Supervisor is responsible for
management of unionized workers in the manufacture of food products
(sugar). DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Direct sugar refining operations on designated shift. Direct
teams of specialized employees ensuring good manufacturing
practices, GMP and safe operating procedures. Achieve standard
production volume, quality standards, and regulatory compliance
through the supervision of hourly personnel (up to 30) on rotating
shifts.
- Successful candidates will have a minimum of 5 years successful
supervisory experience in a food or pharmaceutical production
environment, be in good physical condition, and must be available
for rotating shifts and weekend work
- Must be willing to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays,
and overtime as -needed. WORK EXPERIENCES
- The successful candidate must be able to achieve results
through subordinates in an organized labor environment
- Knowledge of proper operation of Affmation & Melting,
Carbonatation, Char & Carbon Filtration, Boiling of White, Remelt &
Soft Sugar, Spinning of White, Soft, and Recovery sugars,
Conditioning and Drying of white sugars, Liquid sugar
manufacturing.
- Ability to work effectively with subordinates, peers, and
supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organization skills, attention to detail, ability to be
proactive and self-directed
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays
- Industrial food processing experience preferred
- Three to five years in manufacturing preferably in the food or
chemical industry
- Must be physically able to navigate throughout the
manufacturing area.
- Must be able to operate a computer. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- College Degree in Engineering or a related science or
