Are you living your life's work? Position Description: The Laborist Practice at Penn Medicine Pennsylvania Hospital (PAH) seeks a Full-Time Nocturnist OB/GYN physician to grow their team. The Nocturnist Laborist provides full-scope care of expecting patients on Labor & Delivery, ED consults, OB triage area and Antepartum unit. This model allows for immediate availability of attending physicians for laboring patients. There will always be two OB/GYN attendings and a CNM on L&D at any given time working alongside the Laborist creating a collaborative work environment. The schedule will consist of 3 x 12-hour shifts per week. The Nocturnist Laborist will also play a key role within Pennsylvania Hospital's OB/GYN Residency program, actively teaching and supervising interns, residents and Penn medical students. Located at 8th and Spruce Streets in the historic Society Hill district of Philadelphia, PAH is the premier hospital in the area for obstetrical care. The nation's first hospital, PAH has been a leader in patient care, treatment techniques, and medical research for over 260 years.
