Job Description:
A company is looking for a Freelance Thai On-Demand
Interpreter.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately interprets messages between non-English speaking
patients and healthcare providers
Adheres to the National Standards of Practice and the National Code
of Ethics for Interpreters in Health Care
Maintains patient confidentiality at all times
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of interpreting experience, preferably
OPI/VRI
National or State Interpreter Certification (e.g., CHI, CMI, NIC,
CI/CT, VQAS)
Knowledgeable in Medical, Educational, and social services
terminology in both languages
At least 40 hours of interpreter training
Demonstrated fluency in English and the target language with test
results
