Job Summary:

A leading construction firm is seeking a Senior Estimator to support healthcare and higher education projects. This role requires expertise in building, renovations, and additions, with the ability to manage estimates independently. The ideal candidate has a strong background working for a General Contractor (GC) and extensive experience with industry-standard estimating software.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Develop accurate cost estimates for healthcare and higher education projects.
  
• Review project specifications, drawings, and subcontractor bids to determine costs.
  
• Utilize Plainswift (or similar takeoff software) and Excel for takeoff and cost analysis.
  
• Collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure competitive and complete bids.
  
• Use BuildingConnected for subcontractor communication and Bluebeam for document review.
  
• Work independently to manage estimates and project pricing from start to finish.
  
  
  Requirements:
  
  
  • 
    
  • 5+ years of experience in construction estimating.
    
  • Experience working for a General Contractor (GC) on healthcare and/or higher education projects.
    
  • Strong knowledge of building, renovations, and additions.
    
  • Proficiency in Plainswift (or a similar takeoff platform), Excel, BuildingConnected, and Bluebeam.
    
  • Ability to manage project estimates independently.
