INTERVENTIONAL PATIENT CARE TECHNICIAN

Job Description:

Position Summary: The interventional patient care technician performs both direct and non-direct patient care duties and technical tasks under the supervision of a Registered Nurse/Director of Critical Care Nursing/Clinical Team Leader. Qualifications:

1-3 years of experience in healthcare, including nursing assistant, EKG technician, or phlebotomist
High school degree or equivalent, completion of Patient Care or Multi-skilled Tech certification program
American Heart BLS Healthcare Provider certification
Preferred certifications: Nurse Aide, EKG, and/or Phlebotomy
Arrhythmia recognition program completion within 3 months of hire
Ability to work well with others, organized, reliable, and proficient in computer skills for hospital information systems Populations Served: Adult: Early Adult (19-45), Middle Adult (46-59), Late Adult (60-79), Late, Late Adult (Over 80) Bi-Weekly Hours: 64 hours per pay period/7A-7P Shift
