At Johnson & Johnson, we all belong.The successful candidate will join the Colorectal Cancer Discovery team to advance innovative drug candidates for the treatment of cancer. They will work in a dynamic environment across the different stages of preclinical drug discovery on projects that include the design, execution and interpretation of studies for the validation and characterization of therapeutic agents and new targets. We seek a highly motivated and dedicated individual with an outstanding scientific track record who will be organized, work well in a team setting, show leadership, and be sensitive to timelines. Experience in solid tumor drug discovery is preferred. Troubleshooting skills are crucial. They will efficiently collaborate with colleagues in the oncology as well as in the small molecule and biotherapeutic discovery organization, and present scientific results to multidisciplinary teams.Key Responsibilities:

• Design, perform, troubleshoot, interpret and report laboratory experiments to characterize drug candidates and to identify and validate novel targets and therapeutic concepts.
• Manage multiple experiments and projects simultaneously while engaging with partner functions.
• Prepare, review, and present materials to support internal governance decisions, regulatory filings, publications, and commercial interactions.
• Monitor scientific and patent literature relevant to areas of responsibility.\r\r
